The Queensberry Hotel is often praised for its spacious and beautifully decorated rooms, some featuring a comfortable sofa/seating area, and the well-appointed bathrooms. Guests appreciate the hotel's character and convenient location, a short walk from the Royal Crescent and the city center, yet offering a quiet retreat. Some guests have mentioned that the soundproofing between floors isn't ideal. A drawing room with complimentary coffee, tea, and water adds to the hotel's charm, and for some rooms, you can enjoy courtyard views.

helpful staff delicious breakfast attentive service inconvenient facilities difficult dispenser combined soap
I found the staff helpful and smiley! They were always ready to assist, and nothing seemed too much trouble for them (I really appreciated that). Breakfast was delicious. I especially liked the eggs benedict.
Unfortunately, I noticed a lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room. I had to go to a station on another floor to get them, which wasn't very convenient. The soap dispensers in the bathroom were also difficult to use and the shampoo and body wash were combined into one.

natural light efficient staff
I enjoyed the spacious superior double room . The room had large windows that let in plenty of natural light. I also appreciated the convenience of valet parking. The staff handled my car efficiently, both upon arrival and departure.
The coffee machine on the second floor was out of service for a few hours.

concierge parking reasonable price spacious room bathroom lights poor attention room noise
I stayed in a superior double room. It was SO spacious. I really appreciated that the hotel arranged concierge parking for a reasonable price. The staff took my car away and brought it back the next day at an agreed time.
My room was located above other rooms. Therefore, there was noise at midnight. I complained three times before anything was done. The lights in the bathroom were VERY dusty. It looked like they hadn't been dusted in years. I had to ask repeatedly for towels.

good layout separate sinks rainfall shower missing kettle service charge hot water
My room had a good layout. The bathroom featured two separate sinks (very convenient!). The shower was a rainfall type, which I enjoyed.
The room did not include a kettle. I had to go to the drawing room to get hot water every time I wanted tea (a bit of a hassle). The hotel added a discretionary service charge to the final bill. I do not like this system because guests might feel embarrassed to ask for its removal.
